Pin curl set for an ensemble member in The Sound of Music

I styled 25 wigs in Women's late 1930's style.

I found sources from magazines of the period detailing pin curl sets that was vital to my styling and design process.

This wig was originally 18", I gave it a significant haircut to fit the short style of 1936.

This part of the process is one of my favorites, examining the curl pattern before styling to be sure I wave in the correct direction.

This wig was also cut down from a long style to this version.

I found that twill tape and can take the function of a finger when applying pressure to a wave.
